My Prayers are with all those affected by Katrina (Friends and FamilY)

Hello:

Huricane Katrina devistated much of the Gulf Coast. I too have family and friends in the area and yes they are safe, but many others are not... If only I could do something to help the victoms of this terrible disaster. My husband has donated some money,but they don't just need money they also need our prayers and support. That is why I dedicate this entry to all those affected by this Act of God. I've seen the news and it bothers me terribly. So many people homeless and a lot of them have only what they are wearing. It makes you think about what is most important to you. I for one feel for them all. If I was able I would give blood, but with my condition I cannot. Donating money is hard when you and your husband are on only one income. So it leaves me with few options. I could and will pray for all of you that are affected by this disaster. I am also here if any of you wish to just talk. I will respond to all of your posts. Again this entry is for all those affected by this storm.

Tonight I also write to all of my friends and family. One of my friends Parent the Mother is real sick. She has cancer. She had surgery yesterday and made it through it, but from what I was told this cancer is in it's advanced stages. That is not good. So I am also praying for her as well.

The Lord is there for those who lean unto Him for strength. He will carry you through the rough times. He is always there.
